Orthodox Christian teachers would use this portion of scripture as a stark endorsement of Christ warning the sinning masses of the dangers of "Hell fire" - or so it would seem.
"Gehenna" is one of three words erroneously rendered "HELL" in almost all popular translations of the New Testament scriptures. It is most commonly found in the portion of scripture known as "the sermon on the mount."
